Our beautiful Suzani bags are made from pre-loved Kantha quilts. Kantha is a centuries-old tradition of stitching layers of fabric together by hand. Mothers and grandmothers reused old textiles and worn saris to make beautiful quilts, bags and jackets. Each Kantha piece is therefore unique and has its own story. As the fabric wears, another beautiful layer can emerge underneath. Every bag is also hand-embroidered with distinctive patterns.
